These are the terms behind every Advanced Apartment Movers binding flat. They’re short on purpose. Anything not covered here, call (888) 278-9005 — Grant answers questions on terms personally before he signs the contract.

The flat figure

The figure Grant signs is the figure you pay. It covers crew, truck, fuel, mileage, materials supplied, COI filing, cargo coverage and worker comp. The figure changes only with your written go‑ahead during the walk, in two cases: inventory bigger than what Miles saw, or access materially different from disclosed (elevator down, dock unavailable, undisclosed flight of stairs).

Deposit and payment

Cancellation

Cancel 7 or more days before the move: full deposit refund. Cancel inside 7 days: deposit credits to a reschedule within 90 days. Cancel inside 24 hours: deposit forfeit, since we’ve already staged the truck and held the crew.

Access & your obligations

  • Reserve the elevator in advance for condo and high-rise moves
  • Confirm the COI with your property management office
  • Truck parking at origin and destination (we’ll advise)
  • Active utilities at destination (lights, water, A/C)
  • Disclose access changes (stairs, long carries) before signing

What we don’t move

Hazardous materials (paint thinner, propane, ammunition), perishables not packed in dry ice, cash and jewelry (carry these yourself), live plants on interstate runs (USDA rules), pets. We’ll flag anything in your inventory that falls in this list during the walkthrough.

Cash, jewelry, irreplaceable documents: ride with you, not in the truck. AAM policy, no exceptions.

Cargo claims

Released‑value coverage is included at no extra cost. Full‑value protection is an upgrade and recommended for high‑value households. Damage claims go in writing to Grant inside 9 months of delivery; we acknowledge inside 30 days and resolve inside 120, per US‑DOT timelines.

Liability cap

Our liability is capped at the declared valuation of the shipment plus the cost of the move. Indirect, consequential or punitive damages are not covered. Texas law governs; venue is Harris County.
