Pricing & deposits

Local hourly is $155, two movers and a truck. Flat figures cover most apartment and house jobs. The $175 deposit holds your date and credits to the final bill.

Apartment paperwork

Every apartment and high-rise job gets the same three steps: COI filed with your property management office, freight elevator booked for a set window, and a loading dock reservation confirmed in writing.

  • We file the COI at least 3 business days ahead when possible
  • Katie confirms the elevator or dock window the night before

Scheduling

Two weeks ahead for a midweek local, four for a Saturday, six to eight for a lease‑turnover wave at a large complex. Katie Sorenson confirms the loading window the night before, with a text update if US‑59 backs up.

IAH corporate relocations

15 minutes from George Bush Intercontinental. Airline crew and energy-corridor transfers get short-notice move-in windows built around flight and lease dates.

Corporate relocation coordinators can book directly with Renee, who handles the COI and building paperwork on their behalf.

Long-distance

Binding flat from $2,395 for Houston, Beaumont or Huntsville. Austin, San Antonio, Dallas, College Station, Nacogdoches and Lufkin step up by mileage. Tyler Wasserman runs the LD crew.

Are you a moving company?
Yes — Advanced Apartment Movers is a fully licensed and insured Texas moving company in Kingwood, TX. State HHG license and DOT/MC interstate authority on file.
What is the hourly rate?
$155 per hour for two movers and a truck. Three-bedroom houses usually run a flat figure instead.
How big is the deposit?
$175 to hold the date. It credits in full to the final bill on move day.

Yes — Renee files the certificate of insurance with your property management office ahead of move day, not at the curb.
Can you book the freight elevator?
Yes — Katie reserves the elevator or loading dock window with the building in advance and confirms it the night before.
What about walk-up stairs?
Our crews are stairwell-certified. A flat $45 fee covers any unit on the third floor or higher.
Do you do same-day moves?
When a route doubles back through Kingwood or Humble, yes. Call Katie at [bc_phone] before noon for same-day openings.
What about packing?
Full pack, partial pack, or load-help-only at $99/hour if you rent the truck. We supply wrap, cartons and dish packs.
Do you move pianos and safes?
Yes — $395 flat for uprights and gun safes inside the Northeast Houston Corridor. Grand pianos quoted separately.
